  • Chambers Street Wines
    148 Chambers Street
Tasting hours between 4 pm and 7 pm
Chambers Street Wines opened in June 2001, the product of David Lillie's and Jamie Wolff's idea that New York might support a shop that indulged their love for naturally made wines from artisanal small producers. There are few name brands here. They choose wines that express their origins, the talent and commitment of the growers and winemakers, and the inherent quality of the vintage. Every wine stocked is tasted, re-tasted, debated ... this is a shop where everyone who works there loves wine, drinks wine with food, and knows at least a little bit about what they're selling. Particular strengths are the Loire Valley, Burgundy and the Rhone, Piedmont, Austria and Germany.
  • Frankly Wines
    66 West Broadway
Tasting hours between 12 pm and 5 pm
At just 320 square feet, Frankly Wines is possibly the smallest wine shop in NYC. After 7 years working at Moet hennessy USA, the wine and spirits division of LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, owner/manager Christy Frank kicked the corporate habit, succumbed to the retail wine bug and settled into life behind the counter. At Frankly Wines, you'll find Christy's version of the well-stocked wine closet: a well-edited selection of daily essentials, quirky finds, and higher end treasures. And you can be sure every bottle represents great value - with less than 200 wines, they all have to be good.
  • New York Vintners
    21 Warren Street
Tasting hours between noon and 5 pm
New York Wine Vintners is a boutique wine shop that has a modern sleek feel to it where they specialize in traditional and new world, small, European producers. Thier public tastings are an exciting constant at New York Vintners. Along with private, more customized events that feature wine producers, importers and guest speakers, they also have free wine tastings every Saturday and Sunday.
  • Tribeca Wine Merchants
    40 Hudson Street
Tasting hours between noon and 5 pm
Tribeca Wine Merchants is a wine shop founded in the year 2000. The shop is dedicated to creating a very special environment for our fellow wine enthusiasts. Despite their many combined years in the wine trade, the proprietors had never found one store that provided great selection, expert advice, fair pricing, frequent wine tastings, convenient delivery and an uncompromising concern for the provenance of their selections. This is why they created Tribeca Wine Merchants, a store dedicated to those who love wine and those who want to learn about its beauties and pleasures.
  • Vestry Wines
    65 Vestry Street
Tasting hours between 11 am and 9 pm
Vestry Wines opened in March 2007 in the prestigious North Tribeca neighborhood of New York City as a retail wine store focusing on small producers from California, France and Italy. Their highlights include the Rising Stars of California winemaking, the hidden gems from lesser known appellations of France and the myriad of indigenous grape varieties that are making a huge impact on the quality of Italian wines. The store was started by four friends and business partners to strengthen their love of wine at wholesale prices, Vestry Wines is staffed by a laid-back team of professionals and sommeliers that enjoy drinking wines as much as talking about them.
